We are committed to providing a safe environment for pet rehoming and transactions. We have a zero-tolerance policy for fraudulent activity, spam, and abusive behavior.
Violations of our platform's standards include, but are not limited to:
Category | Definition & Examples |
Scams/Fraud | Attempts to illegally obtain money or personal information. (e.g., asking for funds via wire transfer/gift cards, using stock photos, misrepresenting the pet's health or breed.) |
Spam | Posting irrelevant, duplicated, or non-pet-related listings (e.g., the example "Warehouse for Lease"), or sending mass, unsolicited messages. |
Abuse/Harassment | Sending threatening, hateful, discriminatory, or excessively aggressive messages to other users. |
Welfare Violations | Any activity that suggests the pet is being kept in poor conditions, mistreated, or listed in violation of our minimum age rule (under 8 weeks). |
If you encounter a suspicious listing, receive an inappropriate message, or believe a user is violating our policies, please report the activity immediately.
For a Listing: On the listing details page, look for a "Report" or "Report Abuse" button (often a small flag 🚩 icon). Click it and select the reason for your report (e.g., "Scam," "Spam Listing," "Welfare Concern").
For a Message: Within the messaging interface, locate the "Report User" button or flag icon associated with the conversation.
Submit Details: Provide a brief explanation of why you are reporting the user or ad. This speeds up the investigation process.

Upon receiving a report, our moderation team will take the following steps:
Review: We investigate the reported content or activity against our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use.
Action: Verified violations may result in immediate ad removal, temporary account suspension, or permanent account banning, depending on the severity.
Feedback: We will notify you once action has been taken, though we may not be able to share the specific outcome due to user privacy.
