Stop Communication: Cease all communication with the suspected scammer immediately. Do not send any further money or information.
Contact Your Bank: If you used a credit card, bank transfer, or any official payment method (like PayPal or Zelle), contact your bank or payment provider immediately to report the transaction as fraudulent and attempt a reversal.
Gather Evidence: Take screenshots of all communications, transaction receipts, the listing, and the user's profile before the listing or account is potentially removed.
Access the Report Tool: On the listing details page, or within your chat history with the user, click the "Report Ad" or "Report User" button (often a flag 🚩 icon).
Select Reason: Choose the category "Scam / Fraud."
Submit Details: Provide all the evidence you gathered (screenshots and a timeline of events) to our support email at hello@furrylistings.com.
We recommend contacting your local police department, especially if you have lost a significant amount of money.
The platform will cooperate fully with law enforcement requests during official investigations.
