Why Was My Ad Blocked?

If your ad status is not Active, check the following common reasons for rejection or suspension:

Reason 1: Animal Welfare Violations (Zero Tolerance)

• Underage Pets: The pet's Date of Birth indicates the puppy or kitten is under eight (8) weeks old. This is our most common reason for rejection, and the ad must be held until the pet reaches the minimum age.

• Suspicion of Cruelty: The photos or description suggest poor living conditions, illegal activity, or neglect.

Reason 2: Content and Quality Issues

• Inaccurate Photos: Using stock images, photos that are extremely blurry, or photos that do not clearly show the actual pet.

• Misrepresentation: Misstating the pet's Health Details (e.g., claiming vaccination without records) or the pet's Breed or Age.

• Spam: Posting duplicate ads, irrelevant items (e.g., commercial real estate), or excessive, repetitive listings.

Reason 3: Transaction and Payment Issues

• Prohibited Payment Methods: Asking buyers to use non-secure methods like wire transfers or gift cards.

• Missing Details: Required fields (like Ready Date or Price) were left incomplete.

How to Resolve the Issue

1. Check Your Email: The moderation team usually sends an email detailing the exact reason for the ad's rejection or suspension.

2. Edit the Listing: Go to your "My Ads" dashboard, click "Edit" on the blocked ad, and correct the violation (e.g., adjust the Ready Date, replace the photo, or edit the description).

3. Resubmit: Save your changes. The ad will return to Pending status for re-review.
